3. What contracts do trainees have to sign?
The Technical Intern Training Program requires trainees to sign two types of contracts:
- The first contract is between the trainee and the sending organization (e.g., Hải Phong Company). This contract is signed immediately after passing the selection process.
- The second contract is between the trainee and the receiving company in Japan. This contract only becomes effective once the trainee receives a visa for entry into Japan. Some supervising organizations (Nghiệp đoàn) may require trainees to sign this contract after arriving in Japan.
Trainees do not sign contracts directly with the supervising organization (Nghiệp đoàn), but these organizations have full authority over trainee management. Before recruiting trainees, the receiving company must be a registered member of the Japan Organization for Technical Intern Training (JITCO).
